Who are we?
Balearic Yacht Club is a team of sailing aficionados with over 20 years of experience in the industry. The basic element of our business is chartering luxury sailing and motor yachts. The BYC HQ is located in the picturesque town of Cala D’or, on the east coast of Mallorca. Additionally, our offer includes chartering yachts in Croatia and Poland.
oUR port & BASE
Puerto Deportivo Marina Cala D’or
Our base is located in a charming holiday resort on the east coast of Mallorca in Puerto Deportivo Marina Cala D’or, around 65 kilometers from Palma de Mallorca. The port is considered to be one of the most important ones on this side of the island. It’s a recreational port which is located in the town itself, also serving as a holiday center. You’ll find many restaurants, clubs, shops, hotels or leisure centers around it, which create one of the main trade lines in Mallorca, both for tourists and everyday users of the ports. The coast here attracts visitors with, among others, its eight bays where popular, sandy beaches are located, such as e.g.: Cala Gran, Cala Esmeralda, Cala Murada, Cala Mondragó.
Its strategic location is an ideal place to start a cruise around the Balearic Islands. Depending on weather conditions, we can sail north toward Minorca, along the way visiting turquoise bays – Cala Ferrera, Portocolom, Cala Murada, Porto Cristo, Puerto D’Alcudia or Pollensa, finishing on the marvelous island of Minorca. The other direction is the south of Mallorca, toward the famous Ibiza, visiting en route the virgin island of Cabrera, the most beautiful Mallorca: Des Trenc, Palma, Puerto Adriano or Puerto Andrax, finishing on the spectacular beaches of Formentery.

Our mission
At Balearic Yacht Club, we are highly motivated and constantly perfect our craftsmanship. The scope of the services we provide goes beyond an average chartering company’s offer. Our guests receive complex support in every aspect from the BYC crew. We’ll help you plan your voyage, book a place to moor in a port, book a table at a restaurant, or organize a facultative trip around beautiful Mallorca or elsewhere in the Balearic Islands.However, we go beyond that. We organize sailing events for groups or companies, family cruises or regattas. We are also a proud dealer of Beneteau yachts. We provide a comprehensive, multi-service logistical support to our Clients. We will organize the base, the transfer of the boats and appropriate maintenance of them, as well as prepare them for the season.
Our main goal is our Clients’ complete satisfaction, maximum of security and a great atmosphere.
We place special importance on the quality of our services and attention to detail, so each day, we work on keeping high standards. Our priority is to meet your expectations, so that the time spent on-board on our yachts will be unforgettable. We pay utmost attention to your safety, and that is why we use only attested and certified devices. We provide our Clients with free transportation from the airport in Palma to our yacht base in Puerto Deportivo Marina Cala D’or, where on a yacht, a welcome drink awaits them. For Clients who are just beginning their adventure with sailing, we offer the help from experienced skippers who will do everything to make sure you feel comfortable and safe. They are people trained to make your stay on the yacht fun and diversified. They’ll show you the most marvelous places in Mallorca, as well as unveil to you its culinary secrets in the most fabulous restaurants on the Balearic Islands.
